BOKO HARAM ATTACK ON A NIGERIAN MILLITARY BASE

 17 Nigerian soldiers were killed in a recent Boko Haram attack on a military base in the country’s northeast on Thursday. However its been said according to Vanguard news  that in less than a month there has been  different attacks on three different military base.

It  has therefore been reported that on Wednesday evening, heavily armed jihadists riding in trucks stormed and looted weapons and vehicles from a military base in Garunda village in Borno State. For nine years now Borno state has been the centre of Islamist insurgency. The attack is therefore dated as the latest of a series of bloody Boko Haram assaults on military bases in Borno.

According to a military source as dated by Vanguard 'unfortunately 17 troops were lost 14 others injured while an unspecified number is still unaccounted for.
